Hello! Here are the improvements brought by this update.
Create a purchase order directly from a sales order
You can now create a purchase order directly from a sales order, without re-entering items and quantities.
Select one or more purchasable item lines in the order, then click Purchase order in the actions bar. The ordered and unreserved quantity is used as a recommendation, and you can adjust it to create a partial purchase order.
A traceability link is maintained between the sales order and each purchase order created, which lets you see at a glance the procurement status required to fulfill the order.
No more manual line-by-line entry of bills. ALIX can now automatically extract information from a scanned document (PDF, images) to pre-fill the form, and the document is automatically attached to the created bill.
Two modes are available: extraction from a single document, which opens the pre-filled form so you can verify before saving, and batch extraction, which creates up to 20 bills in a single operation, directly and in the background. This saves you data entry time on your bills.
Schedule (BETA): view and organize your cards by talent or by project
A new Schedule view lets you view and organize your cards on a calendar. You can see the cards planned by talent or by project, and drag and drop them to adjust dates and assignments.
Three new fields, Start time, End time, and Assigned talent, are added to cards to determine their position in the schedule.
These fields are also available as columns in the Planning -> Cards grid, giving you an overview and the ability to quickly plan several cards at once.
Two new features for inventory planning
Two additions enhance the inventory planning view.
A new Manual recommendation column lets you enter your own recommended quantity for an item, directly in the grid.
This value takes priority in the purchase order and production order creation assistants, letting you adjust the recommendations calculated by ALIX based on your business judgment before launching your purchases or productions.
Each user works in their own session, and values are reset at each report execution.
In addition, you can now export the view to an Excel file (.xlsx) via More actions -> Excel export, including all visible columns and any manual recommendations entered.
New Zoho CRM integration
ALIX now integrates with Zoho CRM. This new integration enables bidirectional synchronization of customers between both systems. Customers, contact persons, billing and shipping addresses created or modified in Zoho CRM are automatically synchronized to ALIX, and vice versa.
The integration covers the initial connection, field mapping, and address module configuration, including managing multiple addresses through custom CRM modules.
A new configuration lets you limit which contact persons are synchronized between ALIX and Zoho Books. Three options are available:
- Synchronize all contact persons
- Synchronize only the invoice and main contact persons
- Synchronize the invoice, main and order contact persons
This configuration avoids cluttering Zoho Books with contacts that aren't needed there.
Fixes
- Fix views performance.
