What's New button

The What's New button, at the top right in ALIX, is your shortcut to the latest news. It changes color to signal an update: yellow indicates new content, and gray means you're up to date. You can always check the latest news by clicking on the button, no matter what color.

-> Note that this button is already published, but as stated at the beginning of this article, everything else will be published on September 11, 2024.

Speaking of Updates…

We are back from a well-rested vacation and took the opportunity to optimize the organization of updates.

- New Updates: for the addition and improvement of ALIX features, scheduled approximately every three to four weeks. These are the ones that will be announced with the new button presented above.

- Maintenance updates: for bug fixes, as needed.

Goods Receipts Module

New Documentation Website

We are moving the ALIX documentation to a new site, accessible via the new Documentation button at the top of the page.

This documentation will be gradually enriched in the coming months. Stay tuned!

New Inventory Field

Improvements

1. We have made some technical changes to standardize these elements:
   
1. text boxes,
   
2. components for adding files,
   
3. texts and button colors.
   
2. Other technical changes have also been made to improve the movement of cards in the Operations Table.
   
3. These elements have been added for analytics:
   
1. new manufacturing_order_template_step_view for item recipes,
   
2. new display_description field in item_basic_view.
   

Fixes

1. When restoring a shipment, the same inventories will be reassociated.
   
2. The UPC field elements for Zebra printers will be displayed in uppercase.
   
3. In the Project tab of the Operations Table, it is now possible to scroll through cards when there are more than 25.
   
4. Fixed a technical issue when deleting a card in the operations table.
   
5. Fixed a technical issue when deleting a consignment.
