How to schedule a shipment

Summary

This article explains how to schedule shipments. Shipment scheduling helps organize shipping information, such as shipping address, expected delivery date, and more. It is possible to ship sales lines of a project.

   Create or assign a shipment for a project


  1. Navigate to  : Planning - Projects.



  2. Select a standard or sales project, then select Sales Order.

  3. Select the sales lines to ship.



  4. Click on More Actions, then select Assign to shipment .

  5. Add a new shipment or select the shipment to assign the sales line to.

  Shipping Planning

  1. The Transport tab allows you to schedule important shipping information. If the information is entered in the project, it will be pre-filled. This information is used to create the loading sheet. 

    1. Expected delivery date

    2. Shipment Name

    3. Reference Number

    4. Shipper & Shipper Address

    5. Customer and Shipping Address

    6. Carrier

    7. Cost

    8. Trailer

    9. Tracking Number.

    10. Shipping Instructions.



  2. The Pick List tab indicates which items should be shipped. The selected sales lines will appear as items to be prepared.

    1. Click + to reserve the source inventory.



      1. Select the source inventory to ship.

      2. Confirm the quantity to be shipped. By default, the quantity sold is indicated.

      3. Clear the check box that indicates that inventory is picked up.
