How to enable emails in ALIX

Summary

Communication with suppliers and customers is a crucial task to ensure your business operations. To reduce the number of steps to send a purchase order or a sales order, you can send them directly in ALIX. Here is how to enable configurations for this feature.

 Enable emails

  1. Go to Settings -» Settings -» Settings -» Email and activate email service.




  2. Add an email address that you control. All sending email addresses will have to be added this way if you have several ex: support@alix.ai.



  3. Select the email address and click on "Authenticate".



  4. After adding an email address, you will need to authenticate it by copying certain information into the DNS of your domain to prove that you have control over that address.  You may need help with this step. If this is the case, please feel free to contact your IT technician or ALIX support for additional information.



  5. Once the information is entered into your DNS, you have to wait for your domain to be authenticated by the email service which should take less than an hour.
