How to set up inventory planning settings
Summary
With ALIX, it is possible to set up a manual reorder point by item. This feature help having a better inventory planning. You need to enter a value for safety stock, reorder point and maximum stock level. You can set up the manual reorder point with a global scope or by plant.
Item planning
- Go to Items modules.
- Select an item.
- Go to Planning tab.
- Select the scope : Global or by plant.
- Put the toggle on the right.
- Enter a value for safety stock.
- Enter a value for reorder point.
- Enter a value for maximum reorder stick level.
By default, value are at 0. Item are set up in make-to-order/buy-to-order.
