How to set up inventory planning settings

Summary

With ALIX, it is possible to set up a manual reorder point by item. This feature help having a better inventory planning. You need to enter a value for safety stock, reorder point and maximum stock level. You can set up the manual reorder point with a global scope or by plant.

 Item planning

  1. Go to Items modules.

  2. Select an item.

  3. Go to Planning tab.

    1. Select the scope : Global or by plant.

    2. Put the toggle on the right.

    3. Enter a value for safety stock.

    4. Enter a value for reorder point.

    5. Enter a value for maximum reorder stick level.



By default, value are at 0. Item are set up in make-to-order/buy-to-order.
