Contexte Context

This release brings the brand new Purchase Order (PO) feature and the introduction to the multi-plant concept.

News

✯ The multi-plants configuration
  1. A new section in the configuration enables to represent the plants/sites owned by a company.

  2. The plant is where operations occur or from where they are coordinated. In the future, this concept will enable plant by plant optimized management on all aspect bieng talents, sales, purchasing, operations, inventory. For now, it will only be used by the new purchasing section for addresses where you can receive stock.

✯ Purchase Order (PO)
  1. It will now be possible to generate purchase orders (PO) directly from ALIX. This new feature is the first of the all-new planning module.
     
  2. The purchase order section leverage our new user experience. When opening an existing purchase order, the form will be read-only and will allow several actions such as viewing in PDF, editing, duplicating, canceling and quick navigation between other purchase orders.

  3. These purchase orders can be printed in PDF to be attached to your order emails at your suppliers.

  4. Once issued, you will be able to receive as usual your ordered goods. 

  5. An additional functionality has been added in the items in the purchasing section to allow a custom order unit per supplier for the same product. Ex. One supplier sells the item in a crate of 10 and the other supplier sells the same item in a bin of 8.


  6. For now, the old way to enter "to order" and "to receive" inventories is still available. However, as we now support purchase order creation in ALIX, we have removed the automatic PO generation feature in Zoho Books.

Corrections 

   ✯ Fixed a problem that was overconsuming according to the batch size in an unplined scan in a card.
   ✯ Correction of a disconnection problem in some rare cases.
