Contexte Context

This update brings a major change with the split of customers and suppliers into two different entities in addition to a major redesign of the entire user interface of this module and the integration with Zoho Books. Here is the link to the article that announced this redesign:

News

✯ Redesign of the contacts module
  1. First of all, the entire user experience has been completely overhauled and customers and suppliers have been separated into two distinct sections. 
  2. Several features have been added to this module. Here's what's quickly accessible in the display form:
    1. View the contact link with Zoho Books and ability to edit the link manually if necessary.
    2. In case of desynchronization, it will now be possible to pull the contact version of Zoho Books in ALIX manually. 
    3. Contact duplication.
    4. Mark as inactive a contact with whom you no longer do business, but keep the history of your transactions.
    5. Associate/unlink a supplier with a customer.
    6. In addition to the contact name, the legal name of the company can optionally be documented in this field. If defined, outgoing ALIX documents will have this company name at the link of the standard name.
    7. Ability to attach documents in a contact.
    8. Added event history to see the list of changes on a customer or vendor.
  3. Other features have also been added in the contact grid directly:
    1. Duplicate customers or suppliers can now be merged. If the action is done from ALIX, the merge will also be executed in Zoho Books if the integration is active.
    2. Customers and vendors can be enabled or disabled in batch from the grid.

  5. In terms of integrations with Zoho Books, all actions are now performed in both systems at the same time otherwise an error occurs and neither of the 2 systems is modified to avoid synchronization problems.
  6. An option in the Zoho Books integration, allows to synchronize certain customers or suppliers with ALIX. Just choose the desired Boolean field and only the contactss with the value "true" will be createds in ALIX during a mass synchronization. An already synced contact will continue to be updated as long as it is linked to a contact in Zoho Books.

  1. Fixed an issue when splitting cards in the board that was not working properly.

  1. Customer and vendor reporting could be impacted due to changing IDs for UUIDs.
