Context

This release brings a new feature to enable Customer consignment and minor improvements and fixes.

News

Customer consignment 

  1. The new Customer Consignment feature allows you to schedule the receipt of customer-supplied components required for manufacturing or service fulfillment.   
  2. The first step is to enable the customer consignment behavior on the affected items. These items can be limited to one or more customers specifically in this screen as well.
  1. The second step is to enable customer consignment on a sales order line. 

  2. Following the activation, a popup window will be displayed to enter the parts provided by the customer.
  3. When the sales order becomes open, inventories at "to receive" status with a value of $0 will be automatically generated. A new inventory Origin page has been built related to this new scenario. 
  4. All other processes around customer consignment items remain the same for the time being with purchases and receipts.

Minor improvements

  1. Added long description fields for purchases and sales in the "template_view" analytical view.
