Customer consignment
- The new Customer Consignment feature allows you to schedule the receipt of customer-supplied components required for manufacturing or service fulfillment.
- The first step is to enable the customer consignment behavior on the affected items. These items can be limited to one or more customers specifically in this screen as well.
- The second step is to enable customer consignment on a sales order line.
- Following the activation, a popup window will be displayed to enter the parts provided by the customer.
- When the sales order becomes open, inventories at "to receive" status with a value of $0 will be automatically generated. A new inventory Origin page has been built related to this new scenario.
- All other processes around customer consignment items remain the same for the time being with purchases and receipts.
Minor improvements
- Added long description fields for purchases and sales in the "template_view" analytical view.
