How to create, edit, delete and cancel a sales order

Summary

Sales orders are all the sales made by the organisation. It is possible to associate one sales order to « Sales project » and multiple sales orders to « Standard » project. To know more about project types, see the article on this subject. Sales order have their own status and shipping status, invoicing status and payment status. In this article you will learn how to create, edit, delete dans cancel a sale orders.

 Sales orders

1. Create

  1. Go to Sales -» Sales orders.

  2. Click on "Create sales order" button.

    1. Select the responsible plant. This field is mandatory.

    2. Select the customer. This field is mandatory and can not be modified once the invoicing is started.

    3. Select the contact, shipping and billing address. To add a customer and/or an address to a customer, you need to modify the customer under Sales -> Customers module. To know more about this module, click here.

    4. Insert information about the sales order. Theses fields are optionals.

    5. Insert items by clicking the "add" button.

    6. Confirm the order quantity and unit price.

    7. Click on the "Save" button.

    8. The sales order is save as a draft. To modify the status as "Open", click on "Mark as open" button.

       

2. Edit

  1. Click on sales order.

  2. Click on "Edit" button.

  3. One the modifications are done, click on "Save" button.


3. Delete

  1. Select the sales order.

  2. Click on "delete" button.


4. Cancel

  1. Click on sales order.

  2. Appuyer sur le bouton « Plus d'actions ».

  3. Click on "cancel".
