How to Use the Operation Board

Summary

The Operations Board is the ideal tool for monitoring operations. It allows you to see the cards in production, the cards on hold and the equipment occupied at a glance.

Depending on your different roles and permissions, some elements mentioned in this article may not be visible.

To see everything explained in this article, go to the Operations tab.

 Board Overview

  1. To display the different value chains in the board, click on the icon at the top left of the board.

  2. Use the filter to quickly find a card in the board.

  3. The statistics are found all over the board. To select the period to take into account, click on the button to the right of the top section.

  4. With the Filters tool, it is possible to perform an advanced filter with a combination of these parameters: promised date range, customer and project.

  5. Depending on the talent assignment mode selected in the talent information, the More Actions menu will display different actions.

If the selection is Supervised team only and the talent does not supervise anyone, he will see the actions Display only my cards/Display all cards. As their names indicate, these actions allow you to view everyone's cards or just your own.

In other cases, it will be the Activate solo mode/Activate multi mode actions. In solo mode, when moving a card, it will become assigned to the talent that just performed the action. In multi mode, the talent can choose, among the talents, which one to assign to the move.

 How to Use the Board

  1. Open the Projects panel, then find the desired project.

  2. Click on the arrow at the bottom left of the project to display the cards. Only cards with New status will be visible.

It is also possible to take the card with the mouse and drag it to the desired step.

  4. When a production step is completed, move the card to the next step until it is shipped.

 Perform Batch Operations
