Contexte Context

This update brings some important changes related to the introduction of the ALIX Accounting module and some minor corrections.

News

✯ New key fields in items
  1. Items have been enhanced with new fields such as "Item Group", "Item Type" and "Inventory Management Type":

  2. The "Item Group" is optional and will be explained in the next section below.
  3. The "Item Type" is mandatory and is used to indicate whether the article represents an article of the type goods (material) or service (intangible).
  4. The "Inventory Management Type" is mandatory and serves to know the type of accounting treatment (expenses vs. assets) and inventory management (inventoried vs. not inventoried)
    1. Quantity and value: Value of the inventory of this article written in the balance sheet and quantity managed in inventory.
    2. Quantity only: Expensed at the purchase for the accounting point of view but still managed in inventory for logistical follow-up.
    3. Not managed: Expensed at the purchase and quantity in inventory not maintained. These non-stock items can be bought, consumed, produced, sold like the others, but they will not make inventory transactions.
✯ Item groups
  1. Item groups are now the main classification for items. They are found under the configuration menu:
  2. An item may or may not be attached to an item group. When this is the case, the properties of the item group will be imposed on the item.
✯ Accounting module - Accounting configuration
  1. There is now a menu to enable or disable accounting management in ALIX. For now, enabling accounting does not affect the accounting system, but it is the foundation before the more advanced integrations that will be rolled out in future updates.
  2. This section mainly contains all the default accounting accounts needed when activities will be recorded in ALIX during invoicing, shipping, productions, etc.

Corrections 

   ✯ Miscellaneous corrections in the calculated prices of traditional cards.
   ✯ Bug fixed on item card split in board where time and sub-contracting were not saved properly.
   ✯ Decommission of the item sync with Zoho Books to have more accounting flexibility in ALIX future module.
